MEET IMANI

Imani Scott is a wife, mother of three, former educator, licensed minister, vacation specialist, and lifestyle coach. As an avid reader, her passion for writing began at 12 years old when she started journaling and writing poetry to express her feelings. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Communications, Imani started her career in education as a high school English, Speech, and Drama teacher.  She later received her master’s degree in Education specializing in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.

After years of teaching, developing educational programs, and providing case management for young adults; finding work/life balance as a mom became exceedingly difficult.  As a result, Imani discovered another passion for empowering and inspiring women with a focus on mothers. Her goal was to provide education and empowerment seminars that promote healthier lifestyles geared toward improving self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-care! 

In 2009, Imani established M.O.M.S. (Mothers on a Mission to be Sexy) which is a Wellness & Self-Care brand for mothers.  The focus is on overall wellness, which addresses the mental, physical, and spiritual needs of mothers by providing tools and life skills to improve their overall health and wellness!

 Imani uses her experience, insight, and passion to write self-help books, spiritual devotionals, and journals to encourage and motivate women to do the work necessary to create the change they want to see in their lives.

 Imani is an authentic, enthusiastic, passionate, inspirational woman.  She has a unique way of inspiring and motivating women to believe in themselves.
